Dasuki appeals to Buhari to allow him 'enjoy' bail

Abuja - Former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki, on Thursday begged President Muhammadu Buhari to allow him enjoy the bail
granted him by the Federal High Court in Abuja, reports NewsDay.
Buhari had during his first presidential media chat on Wednesday said Dasuki could not be released because he could jump bail.
Buhari had described the charges against Dasuki as serious.

But, Dasuki, through his lawyer on Thursday Ahmed Raji (SAN), appeal to Buhari to allow him enjoy the bail that was granted to him.
While noting that he does not want to join words with the president, Dasuki pleaded with Buhari in the name of God to allow him enjoy the bail.
Speaking further on behalf of his client, Raji said Dasuki has the greatest respect for the President, both in his official and personal capacities.
Dasuki is currently facing charges for misappropriating over $2b meant for the purchase of arms for the Nigerian military to fight the war against the Boko Haram insurgency in the country.
