
Former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo visited Algeria, on a state trip which begun on Tuesday, January 26.
Algeria Press Servic reports that on his arrival, Obasanjo was received at Houari Boumediene international airport by Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal and Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and Arab League, Abdelkader Messahel.
As of the time of filing this report, there were no specifics on the reason of his visit. However, the ex-president of Nigeria will be meeting with more senior officials of the State during this visit.
