Wenger speaks about Javier Hernandez move

Javier Chicharito Hernandez

According to the rumours making rounds, the player of Mexico international football team has been linked with either an Arsenal or Liverpool move.
In his reaction to the gossip, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists that his team have  enough “quality player” in attack.

He said: “No. We have Danny Welbeck coming back now and Alexis Sanchez is back. We have Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott, so you would not understand again why I don’t play Giroud and I play Hernandez. We have the quality and the number of players that we need.”
This transfer window Arsenal have signed defensive midfielder Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel.
The 23-year-old midfielder spent three years with the Swiss club, making over 90 league appearances and winning three consecutive Super League titles.
He featured 28 times in all competitions in the first half of this season, scoring six goals.
Elneny will compete with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere and Santi Carzola for a place in Arsenal’s midfield.
Meanwhile Olivier Giroud, the main forward of Arsenal, states that his club has great players that can win the Premier League.
He rejected suggestions made that the Gunners needed to be strengthened in three areas in January:  “Tell me where! Just tell me where! I will explain the opposite judgement.”
Speaking with the Daily Mirror UK, he explained: “We have very good players as well on the bench, young players waiting to come in. They are very talented. I am not worried about it. Danny Welbeck will come back in a month and a half. Theo Walcott can play up front, Joel is Campbell doing well with his national team up front. If I am less good or get injured, we still have a solution.”
